GOALS AND OBJECTIVES

Goal: To contribute to improved population health through increased awareness and understanding in Canada and abroad of issues related to the Global Hepatitis C epidemic.

Objectives:

1) To facilitate knowledge interchange including global best practices in the areas of hepatitis C surveillance and research, prevention, diagnosis, and treatment in order to increase the availability of and access to evidence to address the determinants and impacts of HCV.

2) To mobilize Canadian and international expertise and facilitate global partnerships in the areas of hepatitis C surveillance and research, prevention, diagnosis, and treatment in order to strengthen international collaboration responsive to the needs of organizations and institutions addressing HCV.
